Finally - A Relaxed Sunday Brunch in Lima!
Fresh mango and berries, delicious Andean cheese , black olive mousse and other delightful local products
The last boxes are unpacked, paintings hanging on their
place ( hit myself on the thumb with a hammer as usual! :) ), phone and internet
are working and now it’s time to enjoy Peru.
We made a stop over at the
Barranco area, a charming place with old summer houses from the 19th
century, a beautiful sea view and a
bohemian flair.
It’s a place where many young
artists have settled down, full of small restaurants and bars and a colorful, tropical
vegetation.
A kind of “Buena Vista Social Club” making music in Barranco
The old church” La Eremita”, unfortunately with a roof that
is falling apart and some vultures living on top, but maintaining its vivid,
bright colors. A bit decadent, but still charming.
Beautiful entrance to one of the old houses
Hidden treasure: a small café that serves delicious, organic
only products.
