  4. Dear Family of Dianela,

My heart is aching for you, especially today - our Mother’s Day. Daniela was such a warm and welcoming member of our cuisine community - our blogging family. She was always so positive and supportive of us all, and I enjoyed our private emails discussing arts and culture. She was a woman of true elegance and charm, yet we never met in person. I am so sorry for that, as we got close once when I was in Austria.

Daniela will be with me always, in my heart and - of course - in my kitchen. I will think of her and you all every time I make one of her dishes.

Mark and I send you all our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences.

    David
